Our meeting began with Riley doing the 4-H pledge and Johnny doing the Pledge of Allegiance. We then moved onto a community service committee report from Cindy Small and Sarah Bear. We talked about having a monthly community service project. Our first planned activity was a soup drive for Feb. We also heard an idea about painting a mural on a hiking trail to help prevent graffiti. We finished the awards from the last meeting and Dorothy talked about Super Saturday (Feb 2). With our new business Bob told us about youth development and we ordered our club jackets. We then split into two groups for public presentations. We also had some new ideas we tried out, for example "happy bucks" and a raffle. Lastly, we had our first educational presentation of the year from Dr. Zacardi! He taught us about vaccinations for our horses.
